BUSINESS owners Terry and Rachel Christie are looking forward to seeing the final cut of a popular TV show they took part in together.

The couple, who own the Manor House in Haltwhistle, will appear on Channel 4's Four In A Bed, starting on Monday, February 20.

Terry said: "Rachel and I were contacted by Four In a Bed, which is a very popular show on Channel 4, and we watch it quite regularly.

"When we got the chance to appear on it, we jumped at the opportunity.

"We thought it would be great for the Manor House and to help put Haltwhistle on the map.

"We had a great time and it was a great experience.

"The film crew took care of us, especially when it was early starts or late finishes.

"They made sure that we were well-fed and refreshed throughout the day.

"They were really organised, which mustn't be easy going to different locations."

From being fans to being a part of the show, the couple admired the work that goes into filming the show.

Rachel said: "The filming took a lot longer than you expect and it was a great experience.

"A lot of effort goes into making the episode. It was such a unique chance to do something like that and something to look back on.

"Being on TV was scary as we wanted to appear as genuine as we are known for, and I hope that does come across.”

As well as the overall experience, the couple also made some really good friends.

Terry adds: "When you start the show the film crew are strangers, but by the end of the filming you become good friends.

"The team was fantastic and it was really hard to say goodbye to them at the end.

"We are really looking forward to seeing everything put together and we hope everyone enjoys the show."
