HUNDREDS attended a vigil to pay their respects to tragic Holly Newton.
The 15-year-old from Haltwhistle died in a double stabbing in Hexham town centre on January 27 in an attack that also saw a 16-year-old boy injured.

Many of the town's landmarks were lit purple a week after her death, while music played out from Hexham bandstand.
A minute's silence was followed by rapturous applause from a crowd who wore purple ribbons.
