TV chefs the Hairy Bikers have been nominated for a popular food and drink award.
Barrow-born Dave Myers and his co-star Si King have been nominated for the Fortnum & Mason Food and Drink award and have called the nomination an ‘honour’.
They have been nominated for Personality of the Year.
This award celebrates ‘the faces who brought us the most passion, entertainment and appetite on TV or a mainstream platform over the past year’, according to Fortnum & Mason.
The Hairy Bikers said: “Oh would you look at that! We've been nominated for the Fortnum & Mason Food and Drink Award. What an honour it is to be nominated again!”
People are encouraged to vote for their favourite individual or duo and be in with a chance to win one of two Fortnum & Mason hampers that are worth £150 each.
The Hairy Bikers are facing off against Big Zuu, Ainsley Harriott, Mary Berry, Rick Stein, Nadiya Hussain, Matt Tebbutt, Stanley Tucci and Marcus Wareing.
