1 Halfway House, Prudhoe

On Facebook, Christina Gerry recommended the pub and said: "Nice old pub friendly people. Good Stella. Plenty of darts and pool."

2 Crown and Cannon, Winlaton

The pub hosts live music from local bands and musicians.
Malcolm Bamborough reviewed it and said: "Can't beat it for the staff so friendly."

4 Black Bull, Corbridge

It is a traditional bar that shows live sport from Racing UK, At The Races, Sky Sports and BT Sport.

Graeme Wylie said: "Really friendly staff. Top beer and friendly customers. We go everytime we visit Hexham. Super place for a good night."

Michael Barker said: "Excellent food. Good selection of beers and spirits. A lovely homely place for an evening."
9 The Barrasford Arms, near Hadrian's Wall
Michael Molyneux-Johnson gave a shoutout to The Barrasford Arms near Hadrian's Wall.
It is an award-winning country pub with restaurant and rooms.
Amy Ions said in a Facebook review: "Always have the best time at the Barrasford Arms. First time staying overnight and it was cozy, comfortable and very good value. Thank you for a perfect evening celebrating my dads 70th."
10 The Black Bull, Haltwhistle
Shirley Nixon recommended The Black Bull Haltwhistle. "Always a warm welcome and a decent gin and tonic," she said.
