HEXHAM gathered to pay their respects to the fallen during the annual Remembrance Sunday parade and service today.
The parade departed from the Market Place at 10.40am before a service took place at the War Memorial.
Mayor of Hexham Derek Kennedy addressed those gathered and following the two-minute silence, wreaths were laid by representatives of groups present, which included serving members of the armed forces, veterans, religious groups and community organisations.
Cllr Kennedy also paid specific respect to those with local links who have died while serving their country.
A number of other parades and services also took place across Tynedale.
