To give something back this Christmas, Step into Xmas is partnering with Metro Radio and Cash For Kids' Mission Christmas Campaign. For every tree sold, £2 will be donated to Cash For Kids to provide gifts to children across the North East who are at risk of waking up to no presents on Christmas day.

Metro Radio's Steve and Karen Breakfast Show will support the cause by giving away dozens of free trees to listeners through the season.

The selection of trees will range from 4ft to 8ft and will come in a range of shapes and widths.

A range of decorations and stands will be available to buy.

Trees were grown by leading Christmas tree supplier Galloway Woodlands.

Metro Radio Breakfast show presenter Steve Furnell commented: "To be partnering up with Step Into Xmas this year is the fairy on top of the tree. Just by contacting the show and chatting with us on air you could be winning one of their luxury real trees and have it delivered to your home."
