A PONTELAND-based estate agents has received a prestigious award.
Goodfellows was named the best estate agent in Northumberland at the ESTAS Customer Service Awards for 2022, regarded as one of the biggest awards in the UK property industry.
Now in its 19th year, the awards, sponsored by Coadjute, recognise the best estate and letting agents for customer service based on ratings from clients who have been through the whole moving experience with an agent.
This year's winners, calculated from more than 200,000 customer review ratings, were announced at an event at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, hosted by TV property presenter Phil Spencer.
He said: "I’ve said it many times but the work of agents, conveyancers and brokers is vastly underrated by the general public and it's only when clients go through the process that they understand the effort, complexity and hard work that goes into your job.
"It's your passion for what you do that makes the ESTAS the most important day in the property calendar every year."
