A HEXHAM garage has won a Vauxhall Motors Customer Excellence Award celebrating Vauxhall's top performing UK retailers.

General manager of Bristol Street Motors Vauxhall Hexham, Gary Bracken, was presented with the award by James Allred, customer experience manager for Vauxhall Motors several weeks ago. 

The dealership aims to offer the highest level of customer care, whether their current model needs servicing, or a customer is looking to buy a new or used Vauxhall.

Vauxhall's annual Customer Excellence Awards celebrate the top performing retailers for quality of service received in terms of sales, service and after-service across the country.

The awards are based purely on feedback from customer surveys, which are given out when a Vauxhall vehicle has been purchased or serviced.

The award goes to the top 15 per cent of the Vauxhall UK network based on customer satisfaction scores.

Gary Bracken, who has been general manager at the Hexham site for around five years, said: "You can expect highly professional and attentive customer service, with clear and timely communications at every step. All our winners routinely go the extra mile to help customers, and our award recognises the hard work that's gone into their all-round service."

He added: "The team goes above and beyond to deliver customers with the very best service, every time. The fact that the award is based on customer feedback shows that they achieve this."
