A PRIMARY school student won a North East annual competition, celebrating the NHS's 75th birthday.
916 entries were submitted, from 1,080 pupils in 36 primary schools across England.
Whickham Parochial Primary School student, Georgia Lowery, won the Step into the NHS competition.
Health Education England (HEE) runs the competition, raising awareness of 350 NHS career opportunities, while supporting young people's career aspirations.

Georgia, 11, created a poster displaying facts about the NHS, and thanking its staff, demonstrating knowledge about NHS careers and an understanding men and women can do any job in the NHS.
Laura Hull, class teacher at Whickham Parochial Primary School, said: "Georgia truly enjoyed learning about the range of roles within the NHS and loved the creativity element to the competition.
"We are so proud of Georgia's design and thrilled about her success in the competition."
Dr Navina Evans, chief executive of HEE, said: "I have been very impressed with The Step into The NHS entries this year.
"Congratulations to our North East regional winner Georgia on her extraordinary poster, I especially enjoyed the rainbows and all the bright colouring – your drawings brighten up the room Georgia."
In a presentation at Whickham Parochial Primary School, Georgia received a certificate, £25 Amazon voucher and goody bag.
