A NUMBER of straw bales came off a tractor in Hexham on Sunday (August 14), blocking the road.
Shortly before 3.45pm, police received a report of the incident near The Station Inn.
The straw was cleared from the road soon after.
A Northumbria Police spokeswoman confirmed no one was injured.
But the incident is thought to have caused damage to a wall, lampost and railings outside Matthew Charlton.
