Staff at a community transport partnership are celebrating having three projects being shortlisted in prestigious awards.
Tyne Valley Community Rail Partnership have had three projects shortlisted for the 2022 Community Rail Awards.
Two projects relate to Haltwhistle in Northumberland.
One project was the redevelopment of the station buildings, which is shortlisted in the Most Enhanced Railway Spaces category.
The partnership decided to transform the dilapidated station buildings and were able to bring the redundant buildings 'back to life'.
The second award is Community Creative Projects & Station Arts, which is for the newly refurbished waiting room on platform two at Haltwhistle. It will be the venue of future exhibition including: Haltwhistle is Something Special.
In a social media post, the Rail Partnership said: "Thanks to everyone who has contributed to these projects. We couldn't have done it without you."
