A FAMILY-RUN dog grooming business has shown anything is paw-sible as it celebrates a year in business.

Posh Paws Dog Grooming, of Haltwhistle, was taken over 12 months ago by chief dog groomer Caitlin McDonald, 27.

it comes after former owner Stacey Waugh, who set up the business in 2014, left the industry.

Hexham Courant:

Caitlin, who runs the business alongside sister Keria, brother Reece and mum Kathryn, started volunteering for the groomers in 2017 before gaining her Level 3 dog grooming and animal care qualification at Newton Rigg.

Another family member owns the building the business runs out of at the town's former police station on Aesica Road.

"I took over the business in August last year after Stacey decided to move on from the grooming business", said Caitlin, who has five years' experience grooming and styling dogs.
