WELL wishes have flooded in for a popular teacher leaving his post after 14 years.
Deputy headteacher of Wylam First School Sean Daly-Brand has left the school he first joined in 2008 to work for Newcastle City Council as a deputy superintendent registrar.
Year One leader Sean started his teaching career in schools in and around London.

"I just hope that in my almost 25 years of teaching I have managed to help each pupil in some way", he said. "However big or small.
"I have loved every minute and it has been a privilege to be able to work with small people every day."
Mr Daly-Brand has left a lasting impression on pupils, staff and parents past and present. And our readers also took to social media to praise the 'inspirational' teacher.
Lorraine Shaw said: "Absolutely lovely man - I did some supply work there. Wishing him all the very best in his new chapter, he will be a big miss."
Katie Robson added: "I had a short placement at Wylam years ago and Sean was inspirational. Good luck for the future."
Susan Sibbald also described Sean as a "lovely lovely man", wishing him well with his new job.
