After several months of work, the Coach & Horses is now open for the public to look at its £700,000 new look.

Tina Moore thought highly of the business, she said: "I have been in a couple of times this weekend to eat and just have a drink, fabulous love everything about it.

Agreeing with Tina, Lee Manuel adds: "I was in last night. It’s stunning. The stable bar in the beer garden is a fantastic touch. Well done all!"
Reflecting on Hexham businessess, Victoria Nixon said: "I Wish some of the other buildings in Hexham looked as good as this, well done."
Graham Smith also agrees with Victoria and said: "I have been in a few times now, a breath of fresh air for Hexham. It is just what the town needs."
Robin Cantrill-Fenwick believes that the money has been well spent. He said: "It looks great - good on Admiral Taverns, and also Northumberland County Council & Historic England who put £240k into the refurbishment through the High Street Heritage Action Zones programme"
Even Hexham Mayor Derek Kennedy add his thoughts to the discussion.
He said: "What an amazing refurbishment - high quality fixtures and fittings - lots of compartments and a nice beer garden - Hexham is thrilled to have this business."
