A patch of land in County Durham has gone on the market for a five-figure sum - and has been described as an "ideal opportunity."
The plot of land, which appears to be a large driveway with a dropped kerb and gates, has hit the market with a £35,000 price tag.
On Station Street in Shildon, the land is situated between two homes and is shaped like an 'L,' meaning the lucky buyer could potentially build their own home.

Marketed by I Go Move County Durham, the plot is said to be an ideal size for a two-bedroom bungalow, while retaining much of the driveway.
However, it states that planning permission has previously passed for a two-bedroom dwelling but has now expired, so new permission would need to be granted.

The listing goes on to say the land is in a quiet location and suggests there are pleasant views.
It says: "Station Street is a quiet semi-rural road overlooking a stretch of nature reserve, is ideal for commuting to and from Bishop Aukland and Durham with train stations close by."
