A charity shop has put out an appeal for help for a business to help fix a smashed window.
Caroline Johnson, a manager of the Oak Tree Animal charity in Hexham, was furious when she found a small window has been smashed and her and other staff members have appealed for help businesses to replace it.
It is uncertain when it happened but Caroline noticed when she opened the shop.
"I just saw that a small window at the top of the shop with bars was smashed,"Caroline said.
"We do not think anyone was trying to break in, as the bars would have prevented it.
"Unfortunately we don’t really know much more.
"It is the first time that this has happened, so we have not gone to the police this time.
"Thankfully, it is a small fix but it is always frustrating when something like this happens."
