EMERGENCY services remain at the scene of a three-car crash.
Shortly before 1.20pm today (Thursday), police received a report of a collision on the B6295 at Catton.
It was reported a vehicle collided with two other vehicles that were parked on the road.
"Thankfully nobody was believed to be injured in the collision", said a Northumbria Police spokeswoman.
Oil is believed to be on the road.
