A PRIMARY school raised more than £300 for school activities through a sports afternoon and fair.
Wendy Goddard, headteacher of Bellingham Primary School, said it held the event to raise money to support their excursions.
Along with a picnic they held a sports afternoon and summer fair.
"It was our re-scheduled family picnic day followed by a sports afternoon and summer fair. The afternoon was very well attended, raising lots of smiles and laughter as well as £340," she said.

"We plan to take the whole school on a museum visit next term so our fundraising will pay for transport.
"We must say a huge thank you to our families for their continued support with all school events and activities during the school year."
