Northern Power grid 'working hard' to restore power to last few customers
SOME RESIDENTS are still waiting for power after a large-scale power cut.
Northern Powergrid is 'working hard' to try and restore power to the last few customers who are still having problems after a power cut around Northumberland earlier this afternoon (July,19).

A Spokesman said: "Around 3 pm, 320 houses around the NE47 area had to have power redirected.
"Around 15:40, we were able to restore power to 300 houses.
"Engineers are still on site and believe that around 9:30 pm, the last customer's problem should be solved.
"Engineers are also looking to see what repairs will be needed."
