A RIDING competition saw Morpeth Pony Club win a Golden Ticket for the second time to represent the North of England at the Horse of the Year Show.
The final competition of The Pony Club Mounted Games was held on Saturday, July 16 at Lanark.
The winners, Morpeth Pony Club, won a Golden Ticket to represent the North at the Horse of the Year Show.
Charlotte Robson, from Shaftoe, is the team trainer and said she was absolutely delighted at another trip to the annual Horse of the Year Show.
The Morpeth Pony Club were the last northern winners of The Pony Club Mounted Games in 2018 under Charlotte as their trainer.
The event saw riders complete a combination of various games on their ponies.
The Horse of the Year Show will take place from Wednesday, October 5 until Sunday, October 9 in Birmingham.
The Morpeth Pony Club's team comprises of Grace Walton from Otterburn who rides on Jem, Olivia Bell from Morpeth on Lucca, Alice Randall from Stakeford on Beauty, Jess Alexander, from Ponteland riding Topaz and Elliot Kirby from Angerton on Denny.
