A PRIMARY school has installed new playground equipment.
Bellingham Primary School's headteacher Wendy Goddard said the school was going through 'exciting times'.
"Some of our playground equipment was deemed unsafe a little while ago and was very promptly removed," she said.
"Not to be disheartened we saw this as a positive opportunity to re-design our outdoor area and we set about our planning. We have new play equipment, seating area and storytelling chair as well as a gardening area, an orchard and Buddy bench."
"Great things are happening inside too - we've got a growing number of pupils in September and are hoping to appoint a new teacher this week to have separate Year 1 and Year 2 classes.
"We're all moving along the corridor to make new classrooms and have gained some additional space to create bespoke learning areas."
