Group Leader, Hannah said: "We have chosen the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) as our charity because we all have experiences with cancer.

"We believe it’s vital to help this cause and improve the research surrounding such a complex and awful disease.

"We chose a car wash because is does something for the community and is a good opportunity to raise money for the charity."

"We are really happy that it went so welll, and raised £126.16.

"Additionally, we are also very proud that we can donate money to ICR.

"We would also like to say thank you to Hexham McDonalds for allowing us to use their water tap all day for free, and Travelodge for letting us use their car park for our car wash."
