A FUNDRAISING event raised more £3,000 for Tynedale Hospice at Home.
A charity Open Garden event held in Acomb raised more than £3,600 for Tynedale Hospice at Home.
The annual Open Garden at the Riding was held on Sunday, July 3 and has become a popular fixture in the Hospice's fundraising calendar.
The sell-out event saw 120 guests enjoy the beautiful gardens of host and charity patron, Charles Enderby, to support Tynedale Hospice at Home.
Guests enjoyed a welcome drink, an extensive range of Indian cuisine and access to the gardens.
Cathy Bates, the charity's Fundraising Manager, said: "Everyone had a lovely time and the feedback has been excellent with guests enjoying great food in beautiful surroundings."
Titu and his team at Saathi Indian restaurant in Hexham provided the food for the event as a gift to the Hospice.
Cathy said: "A huge thank you to everyone who attended and continues to support Tynedale Hospice at Home.
"We are very lucky to have such a wonderful community supporting the work of the Hospice."
The money raised from the event will support families in the Tynedale community who need access to the Hospice's care services, including end of life nursing care, bereavement support and hospital transport.
