A PRUDHOE man has appeared in court charged with possession of an imitation firearm.
John Pringle, of West Wylam Drive, has been accused of having a Beretta Px4 pistol in a public place at Magnesia Bank pub in North Shields on June 18.
The 64-year-old appeared at North Tyneside Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (July 6).
Mr Pringle will next appear at the same court on July 13.
He has been remanded on unconditional bail until then.
