AFTER a two year hiatus, Tynedale Harriers Pie 'n' Peas 10 kilometre run will return on Wednesday, July 6 at 7.30pm.

The Tynedale Pie 'n' Peas 10K Road Race is organised by Tynedale Harriers and Athletic Club, which is based at Wentworth Leisure Centre in Hexham.

The route will start in Ovington village and finish in the Tyne Riverside Park at Low Prudhoe.

Organisers have asked participants to avoid parking in Ovingham village, as inconsiderate parking may mean they cannot hold the race in future years.
