CROWDS flocked to a day of family fun as celebrations for the Queen’s Jubilee year continued in Prudhoe.
Eastwood Garden Community Association, Tyne Valley Health and Wellbeing CIC and The Miner’s Lamp hosted a free picnic in the park event in West Wylam.
It comes after a Jubilee Beacon was lit earlier this month in the same venue.
Live entertainment from Aukestra, Let it Snow Productions and Pauline Ash Singers entertained visitors to Eastwoods Park, while there were also a number of children’s activities and value-for-money food.
The Miner's Lamp, on Eastwoods Road, was recently handed a five-out-of-five food rating.
The cafe was rated on June 16, according to the Food Standards Agency.
