THE High Sheriff of Northumberland will host a family fun day at Mowden Hall next weekend.

The event, on Sunday, July 10, will feature the world-renowned Red Devils parachute display team, Circus Central, a vintage car rally, funfair rides, alpacas, a petting zoo, crazy golf, games, and food and drink.

'The Jubilee Games' will raise money for the Community Foundation Tyne & Wear and Northumberland.

Northumberland's High Sheriff Colonel James Royds said: "As High Sheriff of Northumberland I am so pleased to help raise funds for and awareness of voluntary groups and charities which support young people in Northumberland.

"It's what this unique day is all about! I cannot think of a better excuse to bring people together than a family day out during Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee."
