Organisers of a popular event are thrilled to get back to the normal with the usual weekend date to celebrate its 21st anniversary.

Hundreds attended the Tynedale Beer and Cider Festival in Tynedale Park, Corbridge as it returned to its normal date of 17-19 June.

The event did return last year but organisers had to wait until September instead of in June because of Covid restrictions.

Ian Cave, chair of the committee said:"Once again, Tynedale Beer & Cider Festival has been a huge success.

"Not only is it an important feature of the Tyndale social calendar, the festival also raises a lot of money for good causes in the region each year.

"We’d like to thank everyone who came along and made it so special, and a huge thank you of course to all of the volunteers who work so hard to put on this amazing event.”
