Four members of a golf club will be attempting to play 24 hours of golf for charity.
Members of Hexham Golf Club Jonathan Richardson,28, Jamie Brown,23, Richard Watson,27,and Joe McStravick,24 are hoping to raise money for Cancer Research by playing golf for 24 hours on Friday, June 17.
"We are hoping to make it all the way through to 4am Saturday morning, during this challenge we will be playing about 8 rounds of golf and close to 90,000 steps," Jamie Brown said.
"A normal challenge is 4 rounds of golf in a day but we want to take that a step further whilst aiming to raise £1000 for cancer research.
"We have currently raised over £700.
"All 4 of us have lost a family member to cancer so we are doing it in honour of them."
