A CHARITY open garden event held in Acomb is back for a third year.

Event host Charles Enderby will open up his garden at the Riding, Acomb, on Sunday, July 3 with proceeds supporting Tynedale Hospice at Home.

This year's Open Garden takes place between 1pm until 4pm.

Enderby, who is the Patron of Tynedale Hospice at Home, said: "July is a wonderful time of year to be welcoming everyone to the Riding and I am delighted to be hosting such an important fundraiser for Tynedale Hospice at Home."

Titu with his team from Saathi, an Indian restaurant in Hexham, are providing the food to support the event.

Cathy Bates, Fundraising Manager for the hospice, said: "Titu is a valued longstanding supporter of Tynedale Hospice at Home.

"The lunch for this event is a real draw for many people, with an impressive range of Indian cuisine to suit everyone. We are incredibly grateful to Titu and his team at Saathi for their ongoing support."

Tickets for the Open Garden are £18 per person and must be purchased in advance through the Tynedale Hospice website.

Guests will enjoy a welcome drink, lunch and access to the garden with proceeds supporting the work for Tynedale Hospice at Home.
