A TYNEDALE man has appeared in court accused of assaulting a woman.
Dean Brooks, (22), of Woodburn Terrace, Prudhoe, denied assault causing actual bodily harm at Newcastle Magistrates' Court last Wednesday (May 25).
It is alleged Mr Brooks assaulted the woman at Prudhoe and Gateshead between July 10 and July 13 last year.
He was remanded on unconditional bail and will return to Newcastle Magistrates' Court for trial on July 25.
