A PHOTOGRAPHER is to exhibit his photos of the North-East coastline.

Wil Cheung, resident stargazer at The Twice Brewed, will show his photographs at The Tyne Bank Brewery.

Wil recently found fame when he took a one in a million photo, capturing a shooting star behind a family from Morpeth.

“As well as having a passion for astrophotography, I can often be found focusing my camera on the world around me, and I’m delighted to be taking part in the Tyne Bank Brewery’s latest exhibition", he said.

“The North-East coast offers countless opportunities for amazing photographs and I’m delighted to be displaying some of my favourites.”

Among Wil’s collection are sun and moon rises over St Mary’s Lighthouse; the Milky Way over Lindisfarne; a puffin proudly displaying its catch of the day off the Farne Islands; a flying dolphin off the coast of Seahouses; and dramatic waves crashing around Roker Lighthouse in Sunderland.

Wil added: “I’m really proud to have my work featuring in the exhibition and am looking forward to seeing the range of photographs which will be displayed. I’m sure it will be popular and a lovely thing for anyone visiting the Tyne Bank to enjoy.”

The exhibition Celebrating the North East Coast and Coastal Landscapes will run for four weeks.
