A PLAY took place at Hexham's Queen's Hall organised by The Queen's Hall Theatre Club, on Thursday, May 12 and Friday, May 13.

The Queen's Hall Theatre Club returned to the stage with a production of Roald Dahl's classic tale, 'Fantastic Mr Fox', adapted by David Wood.

Roald Dahl's iconic story follows the villainous attempts of Farmers Boggis, Bunce and Bean, "one fat, one short, one lean", as they persecute Mr Fox and his family.

The farmers try to kill him by any means, but Fantastic Mr Fox bravely takes them on and outwits them at every turn.
