ARTWORK by two Hexham pupils will be displayed at an art gallery in London.
Around 21,000 children across the UK, aged between four and 19, entered a competition for a chance to see their artwork form part of the Young Artists' Summer Show at the Royal Academy of Arts.
40 pupils from Hexham Middle School submitted artwork.
Last week, James Vinck and Annabelle Ridley, both year 5 pupils at the school, received the news that their work had been selected.

The pair both worked in pencil to create detailed still life drawings.
Art teacher Ellie Taylor said: "The quality of the artwork submitted was phenomenal.
"I’m incredibly proud of all of the students who worked so hard on their entries.
"James and Annabelle are both very talented artists and we can’t wait to see their work on the walls of the London gallery!”
The online gallery can be viewed between July 19 and August 14 at https://www.royalacademy.org.uk/exhibition/young-artists-summer-show-2022
