New investment plans have been revealed for a local park area.
County Cllr Gordon Stewart has annouced that a 'walking track' will be a part of a further investment of Eastwoods Park in Prudhoe.
It will go around the edge of the field of the park and will be more accessible for those who need it.
Cllr Stewart said: "Eastwoods Park was an area neglected for many years, but over the last four years substantial investment of time and finance has been made by the Prudhoe Community working with the Councils.
"The park was invaluable during the pandemic restriction times and allowed so many people to enjoy the facilities.
"I am delighted that further major investment will be made later this year via a joint initiative.
"This will help those with mobility issues, pushing a pram, spectators or just people who do not want to get their shoes muddy."
