A PUB in Haltwhistle has received a recommendation badge from a popular food website.
The website Restaurant Guru gave The Manor House Inn in Haltwhistle a Recommendation Badge.
The website has more than 30 million monthly users. The award is based on customer reviews.
One customer review said: "Has its own private car park, very friendly helpful staff and lovely fresh tasty homemade food. The chips are fantastic and the gravy is amazing. Hand pulled beer was very nice. Even our dog got given some treat biscuits which was a lovely touch."
Terry Christie bought The Manor House Inn in 2018. In a Facebook post, he said: "We have just been awarded the highly esteemed Recommended on Restaurant Guru 2022 Award, I can not believe what my staff have achieved since I bought the Manor House Haltwhistle back in 2018."
Another review said: "Great food. Friendly helpful staff. Great village atmosphere."
