EVENTS will be held in Prudhoe celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Adderlane Academy in Prudhoe has organised a Jubilee Party to take place on Thursday, May 26, beginning at 1pm.
Emma Potts, headteacher and SEND coordinator of Adderlane Academy, said: "We have managed to attract funding to ensure that everyone attending the party has a wonderful time. We are working in partnership with the Manors Assisted Living Facility, Karbon Homes, Local Shops and Northumberland County Council."

Gordon Stewart, Coun. for Prudhoe, said: "Excitement is building already around Prudhoe, a town that has shown great loyalty to the Queen over the years and also likes to party. I am really looking forward to attending many events around the town."
Emma said: "We will have face painters, a bouncy castle, afternoon tea, a disco, balloon modelling, a photo booth, life size cut outs, decorations and lots of games."
Cycling without Age Prudhoe will offer free trike transport from The Manors to the Academy on that day.
"To say we are excited is an understatement, particularly after the last two years we really feel as if life is getting back to normal and we can enjoy time together. We are so happy that the residents of the Manors will be coming down to join us for the party as we have missed spending time together," Emma added.
