Cllr Stewart said " Over £90k of taxpayers money was spent on revamping the playpark in the grounds of Waterworld.
"I am concerned that after a short period of time some of the equipment is being put out of service through normal wear & tear, and very disappointed at how long repairs are taking to rectify the problems.
"We have just had Easter School holidays and some of the equipment was unusable and had been for a long period of time with no date being given for the repairs to take place'
"The providers should look at these issues as a matter of urgency."
