Award-winning rap storyteller Jack Dean and a live band shares the true story of the much misunderstood Luddite rebellion, told through the lens of Jeremiah Brandreth's life, the instigator of the Luddites' final stand and the last man in British history to be beheaded by axe for High treason.

7. Sandstone Way

Where? Berwick to Hexham

This 120 mile mountain biking route extends from Berwick-Upon-Tweed to Hexham. It links numerous sandstone features, crags, and outcrops. Since there are several bed and breakfasts along the way, those looking for a new adventure could make the trip a full weekend trip.

8. The Moot Hall

Where? Hexham Market Place

Built circa 1400, the Hall was used as a home, office and court for the Archbishop of York's bailiff who administered Hexhamshire from the Hall. Discover the unique art on sale.
