A LEARNING provider has received an overall rating of 'Good' from Ofsted.
Release Potential Ltd., based in Stocksfield, have been rated as 'Good' by Ofsted, with a rating of 'Outstanding' for 'Personal Development.'
The inspection took place from February 22 until February 25.
The independent learning provider delivers adult learning programmes across the North East, funded by the North of Tyne Combined Authorities.
The report stated: "Learners benefit from learning in an environment that is positive, inclusive and respectful. Tutors recognise the varied backgrounds of adults aiming to return to work and study and make them feel comfortable to do so."
It also said learners have positive attitudes to learning, helping to increase their self confidence.
"Learners have progressed to employment in photography, sound engineering, customer service, warehousing and in a range of roles in the National Health Service," it said.
The report praised the education provider's management system. "Leaders and managers review the progress of learners frequently and identify accurately learners who are at risk of falling behind. They ensure that these learners attend one-to-one sessions to enable them to catch up quickly."
Safeguarding arrangements were found to be effective by the report, which said: "The designated safeguarding lead and her deputy have appropriate training and experience to be effective in their roles."
