UKRAINIAN refugees have arrived in a Tynedale village.
Samantha Rees, who lives in Haydon Bridge, has welcomed her Ukrainian family members after they fled their home country following Russia's invasion.
Samantha's daughter-in-law Dasha has lived in Northumberland for the last year.
Now Dasha's mother, grandmother and nephew have arrived safely in Haydon Bridge and will be staying with Samantha.
"It is a relief to have them here," said Samantha. "We look forward to getting everyone into work, school and English lessons, where needed."
Samantha has asked local Haydon Bridge residents if they can help with local work and English lessons for her Ukrainian family members.
Hexham MP Guy Opperman and his team have been assisting Samantha and Dasha to bring their family members to the UK.
Mr Opperman said: "It was great to meet the family who my team and I have been helping for several weeks.
"They are very welcome. More refugees from Ukraine will be arriving soon.”
