AN INDEPENDENT cinema in Hexham has launched a new film club.
The Forum Cinema's film club will be held once a month on a Tuesday evening with a screening of a film programmed by the cinema's team.
It will be followed by a post-film discussion in the cinema's café bar area with guest speakers and hosts.
The first film club session will be a screening of the Academy Award nominee, The Worst Person in the World, followed by a post-film discussion on Tuesday, May 3 at 6.45pm.
The project is supported by Film Hub North with National Lottery funding on behalf of the BFI Film Audience Network.
The cinema recently led the 10-day Tyne Valley Film Festival, which comprised of 35 screenings and events at 17 venues across the Tyne Valley.
The festival brought together rural film clubs, venues, and community organisations.
