A community project is to host a trip to wildlife centres to hear expert talks and plant native species trees.
On Thursday March 24, Haltwhistle Growing Together have put together a trip to plant native species at Greenlee Lough, at Northumberland National Park.
It will run from 10am-4pm, where there will be transport from Community Allotment.
The day will be filled with expert talks at the Sill and Greenlee Lough, along with lunch and refreshements.
The session is free but booking is essential via Haltwhistlegrowingtogether@protonmail.com
