A TRIAL date has been set for a woman accused of murdering her 81-year-old husband.
Janet Dunn, 72, of Beech Court, Darras Hall, Ponteland, appeared at Newcastle Crown Court on Monday, March 21.
She did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody.
The next hearing is scheduled for April 19 with a trial set for September 12.
At about 5.25pm on Tuesday, March 15, Northumbria Police received a report of concern for the welfare of a man. Emergency services attended but found Anthony Dunn dead.
