A BUSINESS has created a new product which will be sold to raise money for Ukraine.
Tim Foxall, a woodworker in Haltwhistle, has designed a new hardwood spatula from which all profits raised will be donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee.
Tim said: "I have been wondering what I could do to fundraise for the Ukrainian situation."
"I am afraid all I really know about is hardwood spatulas, manufacturing them in my workshop in Haltwhistle, helped wonderfully by Sam Allison and Chris Allen, and selling them all over the place."
This led to the creation of a Ukrainian flag-waving spatula design with the country's colours of yellow and blue, which Tim sold at Hexham Farmers' Market on Saturday, March 12.
The spatulas cost £16 each, with £3.60 postage, or free postage and packaging if collected from Tim's studio, The Spatularium, at the West End Industrial Estate in Haltwhistle.
