Some fallen trees that blocked a popular Northumberland road have been removed, allowing the road to open.
Two trees had fallen in the night and blocked a road near Burn Tongues on the Allendale to Keenly road.
It was first reported by a staff member from the County Council around 7:00 am and contractors came out to chop it up to clear the road.
A spokesperson from the council said: "The incident was reported to us by a member of staff around 07:00 today with a tree down. By the time our tree contractors reached the site a second one had come down. Both trees are now removed."
