EXCITING: The proposed KFC drive-thru will be the first in Hexham and could be joining other fast food giant Mc Donald's in the town.
KFC have revealed plans to open a branch in Hexham.
The fried chicken chain has listed hundreds of sites on its website where they want to open new sites all over the UK - with plans for more full-size restaurants and drive-thrus.
On the list it names Hexham as being one of the 'proposed drive-thru' sites.
On the KFC website, the fast food giant says: “We’re on the lookout for over 500 sites.”
According to the company, drive-thru sites are its most popular type and can be fit into vacant sites of more than 0.3 acres.
