A charity has announced 20 slots for the Great North Run (GNR).

Tynedale Hospice at Home are asking people to fundraise for them in the GNR.

Cathy Bates, Fundraising Manager, Tynedale Hospice at Home said:

“Right now we’ve still got around 20 slots for the Great North Run still available. We know there’s always such a clamour for places so we’re optimistic that they’ll go quickly.

“So if anyone would like to take part and would like to help those in our community - at a time in their lives when they most need our support - they need to get in touch quickly.

“This is a wonderful event and a vital one for the Hospice. It’s back to the classic route - and every last penny raised by our runners will stay local and assist through end-of-life care or bereavement support.”

The cost is £60 and each runner will need to pledge to raise £350 for Tynedale Hospice at home. Sign up here https://tynedalehospice.com/product/the-great-north-run/
