Northumberland Water have restored household's water in a quick fix.
The water company announced that they had to do an 'emergecy repair' at 5pm today, Friday, 7 January.
The repairs were made on Broomhill Road, Prudhoe and an annoucement was made by the water company that households may be affected until 7:45pm.
Thankfully, just before 6 pm Northumberland Water announced that water has been completely restored.
A spokesperson said: "A spokesperson for Northumbrian Water said: “We carried out a repair on a burst water pipe in Broomhill Road, Prudhoe, earlier this evening.
"A small number of customers may have seen their water supply affected while the work took place, but the repair was quickly completed and anyone who was impacted had water restored within half an hour.”
