SNOW covering the grounds of Hexham has finally melted, allowing businesses to reopen.
Hexham Golf Club had to close its grounds due to at least one inch of snow covering the area.
Chris Brown, manager of Hexham Golf Club, said: "Everything was back to normal on Monday, the ground had finally dried up, and then it started snowing and we had to close on Tuesday. We are very weather dependent."
They reopened on Sunday, 9 after being closed since Tuesday, 4.
Normally, the club doesn't have to close because of the weather.
The good drainage in the ground usually prevents the course from getting easily waterlogged.
The club closed several times in December due to excessive rain. Chris said: "I think around 192ml was recorded over the month of December in total."
Snow isn't forecast for the coming days.
